  • “I felt like Emma listened to me about everything I had to say, and it took a lot of weight off my shoulders and allowed me to feel validated about what I have gone through, and allowed to me to let it go to an extent? I am still impacted and changed by what I went though, but feel mentally healthy and like I am able to cope with it. I now know that my life is not defined by what I went though, even if it still has an impact on me - but that’s okay”

  • “Thankyou for everything, and enabling me to turn my life around. I feel like I now have hope for the future, and that I have the tools to achieve what I want in life”

  • “Emma is so kind and welcoming and always makes me feel completely at ease. She creates a comfortable environment that I always feel safe in and can speak to her about absolutely anything. Emma’s knowledge and professionalism is outstanding and her help and advice has been life changing due to her care and attention as well as the time she has taken to listen to me, get to know me and understand what’s going on.”

  • “I came to Emma because I was feeling very anxious about an upcoming exam. She made me feel very listened to and comfortable enough to share everything. Emma practised several relaxation and visualisation exercises with me which helped the big day go by easier!”

  • “It helps me deal with my thoughts and feelings. I have gained a deeper understanding that what I am feeling is validated and not ‘stupid’ but relates to my surroundings and I have gained a lot of knowledge from my sessions on how to focus on the here and now.”

  • “Working with Emma after working with other people I feel Emma is understanding and is “human” in response. Therapy isn’t a quick fix and isn’t sold as this, my understanding of that also helps as therapy is a long road to a desired outcome.”

  • Emma really helped me to first lay out my life in a way that I was able to understand what was going on in my head, in a kind and active way. She is warm and funny and said things in such an impactful way that I was able to go and learn more about them and incorporate them into my own life and practices.

  • From the get go I felt safe to express how I felt, or rather didn’t feel. Feeling safe and knowing that my therapist was so genuinely concerned, made it easy to receive and grow, to make connections between things I hadn’t before. My life feels a lot smoother now, and I can make decisions without that overwhelming sense of doom hanging over me anymore.
