Dylan is a psychological therapist who works with individuals experiencing various psychological difficulties including anxiety, depression, OCD, and low self-esteem. He has a first class honours degree in Psychology from the University of Dundee where he conducted research on how people with anxiety and depression manage their emotions. Dylan also has a Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in Psychological Therapies from the University of Edinburgh, and continues to attend further training to stay up to date with the most current research and approaches.

Dylan uses a collaborative, person-centred Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach to create an environment for his clients to identify and understand the interaction between their thoughts, behaviour, and emotions. With a focus on providing his clients with the appropriate strategies, he aims to help them make positive and sustainable changes.

  • “I can see further through the process how the past helps explain my thoughts and behaviours now. I can now try and change my ways of thinking. It has not always felt easy talking about my feelings but letting someone objective challenge the assumptions that led me to some of those feelings, such as guilt, has helped me deal with difficult family circumstances.”

  • “I think Dylan has been excellent and so was Ashleigh before. I feel this is a safe space where I can speak without being judged and really explore my issues. I wouldn't say I'm someone in desperate need for therapy, but I keep coming back as Dylan shows me how to turn my head into a strength. I would say it's beginning to become the case now. Came in a broken man, leaving happy :)”

  • “Therapy has impacted my life greatly - I have seen a vast improvement in my mental health and can navigate my emotions with confidence. I have felt seen and heard without judgement throughout my sessions, and couldn’t be more thankful for the support I have been given!”

  • “I have received therapy via zoom because of geography and have found it very beneficial. I feel listened to but also feel it is a collaborative space.”
